Zachary Wilson

Zachary Wilson, growing up affectionately known as Baldy, was born April 30, 1958, to Mrs. Annie Mae and Mr. Jim Wilson, Jr. He attended P. L. Dunbar Junior High and J. S. Abrams High schools in Bessemer before completing his engineering degree at Tennessee State University, where he became a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Incorporated. He later completed his master's and PHD in Georgia.

After ending his engineering career, he became an entrepreneur of many ventures. Then on March 10, 2025, Zach transitioned to his final and greatest work.

                                                      And won, ere the close of the day

                                                      Then forget to grieve for my going

                                                      I would not have you sad for a day

                                                      And remember the place where I lay

                                                      Stand for a few moments beside me

                                                      And remember only my best

Cherished memories of Zach will be kept in the hearts of his sons, Terrence Wilson and Zackino Woods, Sr.; his grandsons, Zackino, Jr. and Niko Woods; his siblings, Elmer (Mary) Carter, Debra Whatley, Jacqulyne Wilson, Beverly Dew, Harold (Wanda) Wilson, Gayle Wilson, Christopher Wilson, and Eugene Wilson; the love of his life, Gloria Cook; Ms. Earnestine Wilson, David Caddell, Cornell Adcox, Jr., The Bouyer and Cunningham families, The Coleman family and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
