William Moss

William Solomon Moss, Jr., affectionately called and known as "Goose" by his brothers, sisters, and friends, was born July 16, 1949 to the late William Solomon, Sr. and Pauline Cannon Moss in Jefferson County-Birmingham, Alabama. Brother W.N. Chriesman, Sr. at the Cairo Church of Christ baptized him into Christ at an early age. He graduated from Wenonah High School in 1968. He was drafted by the United States Army and served courageously in the Vietnam War. After honorable service in the United States Army he was discharged. He was married to the late Donna Ann Moss and to this union one child was born, Solomon Dion Moss. William Solomon Moss Jr. departed this life Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Birmingham Alabama.
