William Jesse Bell, 92, of Moundville, AL formerly of Birmingham, AL died Sunday September 11, 2011 at his home in New Orleans, LA. Funeral Services will be held 10 A.M. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Bessemer, AL with Pastor William E. Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Little John Funeral Home of New Orleans, LA and Chambers Funeral Home of Bessemer, AL. Mr. Bell was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Bessemer, AL and retired from Pullman Standard, Inc. after 45 years. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Mary Alice Hale of Baton Rouge, LA and Bessie Bell Ford of New Orleans, LA; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
