Viola Jackson-Steele

Obituary Viola Jackson-Steele was born on September 30, 1943 to the late Robert Jackson, Sr.  and Chinesta Lee-Jackson. She accepted the Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Hopewell Baptist Church in Marion, Alabama. She later joined Peace Baptist Church in Titusville, where she was a faithful member until her health failed. She was a graduate of Ullman High School and Debbie’s Beauty College. Viola was a license cosmetologist and retired in 2008. She departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Viola joins: beloved parents, Robert Jackson, Sr. and Chinesta Lee-Jackson; grandfather, Robert Lee; grandmother, Ludie Lee; brothers, Robert “Bubba” Jackson and David “Danny” Jackson; sister-in-law, Evelyn Joshua Jackson, Connie Anderson and Betty; nephew, Steven Hines; best friends, Patricia Ann Moore, Shirley Patterson and her goddaughter Patricia Moore in heaven. Viola leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Dorothy Steele-Brazzill and Dr. Teresa Steele-Martin (Carlares); son, Robert Steele, Jr.; sister, Barbara Jackson-Hines of Birmingham,AL; brothers, Lue David Jackson (Helen) of Detroit, MI, Eugene Jackson of Birmingham, AL and James Edward Jackson (Yvonne) of Lawrenceville, GA; uncle, Willie James Lee of Marion, AL; grandchildren, Sherria Brazzill-Allen (CeDarrius), Brittney Brazzill- Bailey (Ronald) and James Brazzill, III; great grandchildren, Ronald Bailey, Jr., Maria Burroughs and Mia Allen; four aunts affectionately known as Mary, Shine, Emma and Carrie; nephews, Lue David Jackson, Jr., DeAngelo Labon Jackson and Daniel L.
