Bryant, Sr. lovingly referred to as "Slo-Poke" or "Ugh" was born on September 15, 1968 to Brenda Barham and Jerry Dowdley. He was reared in Bessemer, Alabama by Roy "Jackie" Hunter who he referred to as "Daddy". Tim confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Antioch Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. He was a graduate of Hueytown High School, Class of 1987 and later he attended Lawson State Community College where he pursued a degree in Business Administration. He was employed with Flex-N-Gate, McCalla, Alabama until his death. He leaves to Cherish his memories: daughter, Kristingna Roberson; two sons, Timothy D. Bryant Jr. and Austin Strother; parents, Brenda S. Barham, Jerry Dowdley and Roy (Cynthia) Hunter;sister, Monica Dowdley; three brothers, Jerry Dowdley, Jr., Roy Nigel (Tyese) Hunter, Quentin Hunter; grandmother, Willie T. Hunter; six uncles, Bobby (Flora) Barham, William H. (Jamie) Bryant Jr., Douglas Bryant, Robert Dowdley, Michael Hunter, Alfred (Wanda) Hunter, Charles Hunter; four aunts, Carolyn Bryant, Betty Turner, Dorothy German, Carolyn Williams; six loving cousins he referred to as his sisters, Deborah Adams, Audrey Walton, Tracey Austin, Lisa Larkin , NaShunda Johnson, Taquetha Christian; three very special friends; Katty Green, Lillian Roberson and Carol Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
