Selena Mae Moore was born August 24, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to the late Fred Douglas Adams and Mary Louise Adams. Selena departed this life to be with the Lord on April 29, 2014. She was a very loving and caring person. She was a true lover of people and she loved her job as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a private sitter at Mount Royal Towers. Selena came to Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at a very early age. She grew in spiritual wisdom at the Seventeenth Street A.O.H. Church of God and the A.O.H. Church of God Cathedral under the nurturing of the late Bishop Jasper Roby. At the time of her passing she was a faithful and dedicated member of the Cathedral of the Cross A.O.H. Church of God under the leadership of the International Prelate, Bishop G.W. Ayers. Consistently until her health began to decline she served faithfully in many ministries in her Church. Selena leaves to cherish her legacy: three daughters, Angela Moore, LaShonia Moore and Kendra Moore; one son, Joseph Moore; two granddaughters, Keyonna and Ramyiah; five grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Stephen, Jeremiah and Kavian; loving mother, Mary Adams; six sisters, Freddie, Rosemary, Eather, Diane (Bill) Curry, Linda and Sharon (Donnell) McGary; four brothers, Lonnie (Teresa) Adams, Donald (Harriet) Adams, Andrew and Anthony; special aunt, Elizabeth Moody; three special cousins, Emma Weaver, Shirley Pruitt and Zenetta McDaniels and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
