Sister Rosie Lee Hoskins was born May 3, 1920 to the late Tommie & Hattie Rhone in Uniontown, Alabama. She confessed hope in Christ at a very early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church, Uniontown, Alabama. She later moved to Bessemer, AL and joined St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. W.A. Clark. She remained a faithful member until death under Pastor Large. She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Lee Hoskin and to this union nine children were born. Sister Hoskins was preceded in death by: husband, Willie Lee Hoskin; son, John F. Hoskin; sisters, Addie Alston & Mary Williams; brothers, Nathaniel & Sylvester Rhone. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Williams (Frankie) Hoskin, Carl Hoskin, WIlbert (Leneitha) Hoskin, Jasper (Melissa) Hoskin; daughters, Willie Mae Hoskin, Louise (Gordon) Harris, Dorothy Morris, Mildred (Ronald) Jordan all of Bessemer; 27 grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; grandson-in-law, Arthur Harris; neices, nephews and many others who were influenced by her Christian behaviors.
