Obituary
Reginald Leon Carter was born on February 2, 1966 in Brighton, AL to Rosa Lee Carter Harris. He was raised by his mother and stepfather William Harris who both preceded him in death. Reginald departed this earthly life on December 23, 2018.
Reginald was educated in the Midfield and Fairfield Public School Systems. He graduated from Fairfield High School Class of 1984. He also attended Lawson State Community College.
Reginald was Founder and Senior Pastor of God’s Grace Sufficient Church, Pleasant Grove, AL. Reginald and his wife Bridget are Owners of Sufficient Grace Apparel and W & L Lawn Service. He was a member of Life Changers Christian Church International under the leadership of his spiritual father, Bishop Roland L. Evans, Jr.
Reginald met and married Bridget Holifield twenty-eight years ago ( actually if you count the courting years…it has been thirty-two ). To their union two children were born, Lindsay Nicole and William Leon.
Reginald was employed by and retired from Kamtek, Incorporated - A Division of Magna.
Reginald leaves to cherish precious memories, a devoted wife: Bridget Carter; two loving children: daughter, Lindsay Nicole Carter, son, William Leon Carter all of Pleasant Grove, AL. Eight siblings: Edward E. (Carrie) Carter of Birmingham, AL; Brenda Kelly of West Columbia, SC; Fredrick E. Carter of Birmingham, AL; Larry D. Carter of Cayce, SC; James E. Carter of Birmingham, AL ; Detrick W. (Marcy) Carter of Trussville, AL; Rodney V. (Allanna) Carter of Glenn Dale, MD; one step-sister, Pastor Rhonda Olison of Chicago, IL. Aunt, Ms. Willie B. Morsby of Brighton, AL; Mother-In-law, Ms. Willie Mae Neeley of Birmingham, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins and friends.
