Quentin Dewayne Crenshaw was born March 17,1978 to Vanessa G. Crenshaw
and the late Brandon M. DeAndreas in Bessemer, AL.
Quentin confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined the McCalla Chapel
A.M.E Zion Church in Bessemer, AL. He later joined One Zion United A.M. E
Zion Church of Birmingham, AL. Throughout Quentin’s life his love for the Lord
was evident.
Quentin was a graduate of McAdory High School, and a graduate of the University
of Alabama at Birmingham. Quentin was an employee of the St. Vincent’s Health
System for over 15 years. Also, an employee of RimTyme Custom Wheels and
Tires for over 10 years.
He celebrated life and love with the late Adrian White. Preceded him in death were
his grandparents Henry and Gwendolyn Crenshaw, two uncles Paul Garrett and
Ronald Williams, One brother Kelvin D Woods and One God Grandmother Ella
Mae Strother.
On Friday, October 23.2020, the light of life went out, and eternal rest was granted.
He leaves loving memories to his two children, Kamaryn and Jaxson, His loving
mother Vanessa G. Crenshaw. His Mom and Dad, Bishop George D. and
Missionary Supervisor Laurenna Crenshaw, two sisters Kennedy and Janae of
Marietta, GA. God Grandmother Geneva Wesley, God Dad Charles D.
Crenshaw, Four Uncles: John E. Lewis, Henry Crenshaw Jr. (Shirley), of
Bessemer, Al, Reginald J. Crenshaw (Donna) of Montevallo, Al and Byron
McCann. Also, Nine aunts Cynthia Crenshaw, Jeanette Wilson, Phillis Adams
(Willie), Tina Crenshaw, Angela Thomas (Vallie), Wanda G. Johnson, Burma
Bolton, Diane M. Little, Henrietta Bell of Bessemer, Al and Wendy Barner (Ric).
Quentin also leaves brothers: Marques Crenshaw, Herbert Wilkerson, Phillip
Crenshaw, Mychal Lucas, Solomon Crenshaw, Shonard Burch, Myrone Crenshaw,
Larry Quicksey, Nathan Davis, Syntel Brown, and Jonathan Dobbins. Also left to
cherish his memories sisters: Paula Davis, Lakysha Wilson, April R. Washington,
Janelle Carroll, Jasmine Morales, and Chymesa Samuel. Cherishing his memories
is a plethora of cousins, aunts, uncles, his Church family, and friends.
