Reflection of Life
It was an autumn evening in Birmingham, Alabama a time when everything burst with its last beauty, when the late Ernest and Dorothy Hartsfield brought home their beautiful baby girl whom they named Patricia Ann. December 9, 1956 was a wonderful day in the life of the happy couple. They were filled with joy and delight and were grateful to the Almighty God for this family addition.
“Tricia” as she was affectionately known as, reared in the admonition of the Lord accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Patricia grew up in Woodward, Alabama and received her formal education in Bessemer City School system graduating from Abrams High school in the class of 1975.
On February 1, 2019 she bid farewell and made her transition from her earthly life to her heavenly home. Patricia leaves to cherished memories and unconditional loving bond:devoted son, David (Ebony); sisters, LaGale (Joe) Felton, of Mobile, AL, LaToya Hartsfield of Birmingham, AL, Christiy and Lisa Washington both of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Milton (Jane) Hartsfield of Georgia, Miles Hartsfield of Bessemer, AL and Tavarus Hartsfield of Morrow, Georgia; five grandchildren, Tamara, Berneal, Daimaya, David III and Davin all of Bessemer, AL; a special great grandson, TaDarrius of Bessemer, AL; special nieces, JaQuetta (Eugene) Broom of Birmingham, AL and Jessica Hartsfield, of Bessemer, AL; a special and loving goddaughter, Javonia Birchfield of Birmingham, AL; and a host of loving aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
