Sister Pamela “Pam Long” Williams “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 11 Timothy 4:7 The Life of Pamela “Pam” Long Williams “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 11 Timothy 4:7 Pamela confessed Christ at an early age and joined Second Avenue Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend E.L. Chandler. Pamela’s education began at Carver Elementary School. She was a graduated of Jess Lanier High School Class of 1979. She continued her education at Lawson State College where she received her Associate degree in Business. She was a proud homemaker. Pamela Long Williams’ journey was completed Saturday, September 30, 2017, when she left this earthly home to live in her heavenly home. Pamela was preceded in death by her father, David Long and son-in-law Charles Bevelle, Jr. She leaves to cherish loving memories with her husband Mr. Jerome Williams, of McCalla, AL, Mother: Leathia Long (Warren Anderson),of Bessemer, AL, three daughters: Erica Bevelle, Jaronia Ware (Keyonte’) and Jaletra Williams, all of McCalla, AL stepchildren: Jacqueline & Errun Williams, of Bessemer, AL grandchildren: JaNiya & Christian Bevelle, Lae’la Phillips of McCalla, AL, Brionna Williams & Maurisha Smith, of Bessemer, AL, great grandchild Jamel Williams of Bessemer, AL, God daughter: Lahni Crum, God grandson: Jaylen Williams of Birmingham, AL, Mother in Law: Martha Mayes (Quillie) of Abernant, AL, five sisters: Rosie Moore (Arthur) Strougburgs, PA, Catherine Royer (Carl), Belinda Jones, (Curtis), Janice Sims (Otis), two brothers: David Long (Patricia), Jerrill Long (Beulah) all of Bessemer, AL.
