Nadine Wilson Robinson was born July 12, 1934 to Marion and Georgia Wilson. She was the first of eleven children born to this union. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Allen Temple A.M.E. Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and YPD Director. She graduated from Brighton High School and studied at A&M College in Huntsville, Alabama. Nadine had no biological children of her own, but was a mother and care giver for many. She taught kindergarten at First Baptist Church, Roosevelt City for many years. She served as cook when needed. The life of Nadine Wilson came peacefully to an end on Friday, April 20, 2012 at her home with her family at her side. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Robinson; her beloved parents, Marion and Georgia M. Wilson; two sisters, Marian Hill (Levert) and Sadie P. Jackson; and one brother, Albert E. Wilson (Willie) Nell). She leaves to mourn; one sister, Bettye Jo Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; six brothers, Reverend Donald Wilson (Barbara), George Wilson, Willie C. Wilson (Betty), and Bishop Anthony Wilson (Reverend Charlotte), all of Bessemer, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
