Murray Johnson

Mr. Murray H. Johnson, Sr. was born to Mr. Marion "Ace" Johnson, Sr. and Mrs. Ileen M. Johnson in Brighton, Alabama and both preceded him in death. Mr. Johnson graduated from Fairfield Industrial High School at the age of 16 and joined the U.S. Army, from which he retired after many years of service. He was also employed until his retirement at Harbison and Walker Refractories Company of Fairfield, AL. Murray was joined in holy matrimony to Brenda Brown Johnson. To this union, two wonderful and loving sons were born. He is survived by: two sons, Murray H. Johnson, Jr. (Felicia) and Courtney Garfield Johnson (Claudia); two brothers, Marion Johnson, Jr. (Mattie) and Larry M. Johnson; two sisters, Batrena Johnson Davis (Michael) and LaKeisha Richardson (Robert); four grandchildren, Raven, Jalyn, Courtney Jr. and Courtlyn Johnson; a devoted companion, Laura Floyd, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and close personal friends.
