Monroe "Earl" was born February 13, 1949 to the late Charlie Henry and Velzora Camp Henry.
He confessed Christ at an early age and attended the Church of God in Brighton, Alabama
He attended Wenonah High School and married his childhood sweetheart, Yvonne Miller Henry. They were separated by her death in May of 2013 after 41 Years of marriage.
He entered the workforce as a young man to provide for his family and went on to work for Warrior & Gulf Navigation Company for thirty years.
Earl, as he was known to family and friends, was a kind-hearted man who would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. He was very well-loved by his family, previous co-workers and members of his community in Roosevelt City.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two loving and devoted children, Deontrinese Henry of Birmingham, Alabama and Antonio Henry of Detroit, Michigan; Grandchildren, Alyssa Henry, and Antonio Henry Jr; Loving and devoted siblings, Zenobia McNeal (Kitty), Willie Rufus Henry (Bubba), Charles Ester Hall (Baby Sister), William Charles Henry (W.B.), Patricia Moore (Pat), Missouri Henry (Beany); Two brother-in-laws Curtis Moore (Pat) and Frank Hall (Baby SIster); one sister in law Roberta Henry (Bubba); many nephews, nieces, and life long friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Yvonne Miller Henry.; Parents Charlie and Velzora Henry, and siblings Bronzetta Collins, Ronnie Earl Henry, Maroline Allen, and Ida Dell Henry
