Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ella Isaac Stringer affectionately known as “Boosie” to her grandchildren was born to the late Mr. Matthew and Mrs. Mary Jane Isaac in Bessemer, Alabama. Mary confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church under the pastorate of Henry Jones. She was a graduate of Westfield High School Class of 1948. After completing high school Mary went on to attend Stillman College and later graduated from Lawson State Community College.
Mary was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Felton Stringer, Sr. and they spent 50 wonderful years together. During her time of employment she worked for Princeton Hospital and later retired from Paramount Cleaners.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, four sisters and one brother. On Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:49 P.M. while surrounded by her loving family and friends who loved her dearly, Mary was rewarded rest from labor.
Left to cherish her precious memories: children, Vanessa Wallace, Beulah Wallace, Felton (Naomi) Stiringer, Jr., Betty Little, Lolita Stringer, Toni Stringer, Patricia (Derrick) Sanders, Rufus Stringer all of Bessemer, AL and Tanequia Stringer; sisters, Everlyn Mays, Bessemer, AL and Ruth Mixon, Southfield, MI; 25 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 6 great-great children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
