Malinda Williams

Mrs. Malinda Williams was born March 29, 1928, to the late John and Mary Washington in Greensboro, Alabama. Malinda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, AL. She later moved to Bessemer, Alabama where she joined and united with Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.
Malinda's education was earned in the Jefferson and Hale County School System.
She was married to her husband Eddie Williams until his death.
She worked for the Bessemer City School System for several years.
Her greatest passion was being with her family, cooking, and watching baseball games.
Malinda slipped away from this life into everlasting life on Monday, April 25 2022 at her home.
Proceeded her in death; her beloved husband Eddie Williams, three brothers, Clayborne Washington Sr., John Washington, and Joe Washington; seven sisters; Florida Willis, Emma Washington, Melvina Brown, Fannie Mae Brown, Wille Mae Harris, Bertha Williams, and Thelma Kennedy.
She leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter, Eliza (Bobby) Void; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
