Leila Leshoure

Sister Leila LeShoure was born June 15, 1910 to the late Albert and Lula Moore Fletcher in Uniontown, AL. She confessed Christ at an early age at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a former member of the choir; Missionary Society and Sunday school class #2. She remained a faithful member until her health failed. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. William LeShoure for 55 years. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Savannah Rainey and Ella King; one niece, Walta Jean McLean, and great niece, Ashley Donder. She departed this life on January 15, 2013 at the Fairview Nursing Home. She leaves to cherish her memory: a sister, Margaret Clay Anderson, of Compton, CA; a nephew, Craig S. Edwards, of Bessemer, AL; two great nieces, Jennifer (Ben) Moore, of Detroit, MI, and Yolanda (Harrell) Williams, of Hueytown, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
