Obituary
Mr. Lee Terry Williams was born October 24, 1961 to the late Tommie and Louise Williams and was the youngest of nine siblings; he confessed hope in Christ at an early age. Lee was educated in the Bessemer City School system and was a graduate of J. S. Abrams High School class of 1980. Shortly after graduation Lee enlisted himself into the United States Army and served his country with honor for four years. Upon his return home, Lee began working for Sherman Concrete and Pipe for fifteen years until the company closed. After the closing of his previous job, he sought employment at Buffalo Rock where he was a dedicated worker for twelve years until his health began to fail. Lee met and married Valerie Custard Williams and to this union one child was born, Tavoris De’Mon Williams, July 9, 1980. He later married Brenda Scott Williams who preceded him in death. Lee was very loving and compassionate to everyone he knew.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Inez Bowe. Lee left us to ascend to his heavenly home on December 24, 2017.
Left to cherish his precious memories: son, Tavoris De’ Mon Williams; grandson, Jayden Williams; sisters, Lois Williams, Freddie (James) Booker both of Muskegon, MI, Irene Brown and Elder Bertha Hale both of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Lewis Jackson, Acie Williams, Tommy (Mary) Williams, Johnny (Lillian) Williams all of Bessemer, AL and Pastor Curtis Williams, Birmingham, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
