LaTrece Michelle Craig Foster was born on December 20, 1971 in Birmingham, Alabama to Ernest and Corliss Craig. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with the First Baptist Church of Roosevelt under the leadership of Rev. Mack Frederick during Spring Youth Revival. She remained a life-long member . LaTrece was a faithful staff member of Miriam & Gideon's Army Youth Ministry, the Number 2 Usher Board, the Culinary Ministry and Vacation Bible School.. Her compassion and strong desire to help others led her to start her ministry which she named "Operation Cover the Streets." The ministry supplied blankets and food to the homeless in the Birmingham area. After graduating from Wenonah High School, attending Lawson State, and entering into the healthcare field, LaTrece was united in matrimony to Donald Nathan Foster on July 19, 1997. On Monday, June 3, 2013 at 2:50 PM, God made LaTrece an offer that she could not refuse. He called her home to be with him. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 15 years, Donald Foster; An adopted daughter, Olivia Simone Taylor; 2 Stepchildren, Britnei and Brandon; Loving parents, Ernest and Corliss Craig, Birmingham, AL; One brother, Malcolm (Katie) Craig, Fairfield, AL; One niece, MaKayla Craig; Mother-In- Law, Sharron Foster, Birmingham, AL; 2 Brother-In-Laws, Jason (Tameka) Foster; Wilbert Foster, Both of Bessemer, AL; A Godson, Sean Christopher Jenkins, Jr.; A very special friend, Kesha Gray; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
