Larry “Cisco” Moore was born June 7,1955 to the late Henry and Laura Moore in Bessemer, Alabama.
At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and served dutifully at Beulah Baptist Church until his passing. Larry gave God honor and praise through playing drums with the choir and looking after the congregation with Beulah’s Brotherhood committee.
In 1973, he graduated from Brighton High School. Shortly after graduating he began his career with American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) and worked diligently while bringing joy to his co-workers for 45 years. He earned several awards throughout his tenure at ACIPCO and served on the safety committee to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Through his fun and joyful spirit, he turned many co-workers into life-long friends.
Larry’s personality exuded kindness, laughter and love. He was always ready to entertain you with a drum solo from one of his favorite songs or make you laugh with one of his signature jokes. His smile lit up a room and brought happiness to all especially his wife, Regina for 45 years.
Larry is predeceased by his brothers, Lawrence Moore, Ronnie Moore, Alfred Moore, Frederick Moore, and Eric Moore.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Regina Moore; son, Torin Moore; daughter, Teia (Alex) Raus; grandson, Alex Raus, Jr.; brother, Donnie (Edna) Moore.
