Kylah A. Coleman-Gresham (known affectionately by her loved ones as Pig) was born on June 27, 2002 in Birmingham, Alabama to Jennifer Coleman and Demario Gresham.
Kylah accepted Christ at a very early age, she was baptized at the age of 11 at First Baptist East Mulga. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Annette Harrell Coleman and her Great-Grandfather, Horrelice Gresham and Great-Grandmother Bertie Gresham
Our beloved Angel peacefully walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 17, 2022 at the age of 19.
Kylah attended Jonesboro Elementary in Bessemer, AL Minor Community School in Adamsville, AL, Bottenfield Middle School in Adamsville, AL, Minor High School in Adamsville, AL, and Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL where she graduated in 2022. Kylah made many wonderful friendships with others who will carry bountiful memories full of laughter and joy in their hearts forever.
Kylah leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories to her loving Parents: Jennifer Coleman (Gaylon) of St. Louis, MO and Demario Gresham (Leasha) of Forestdale AL; A beautiful and resilient sister: Jordyn Nicole Gresham of St. Louis, MO, her two half-brothers: Darrius and Sean Gresham of Birmingham, AL, two bonus-brothers Gavin and Evan Via of St. Louis, MO Grandfather G’Reenie Jackson Coleman Sr. of Bessemer, AL, her two aunts: Nepheteria Coleman (Ricky) of Atlanta, GA and Tonya Peten of Hoover, AL. Her Uncle: G’Reenie Jackson Coleman Jr. of Bessemer, AL. Seven first cousins; Kamery A. Wallace, Rikeya D. Wallace, Rickey D. Wallace, G’Reenie J. Jackson Coleman III & G’Riah L. Coleman, all of Bessemer AL, Michael Peten Jr. and Ta’Micah Peten, of Hoover, AL. The love of her lifetime, Alana Allen of Forestdale AL, her childhood friend Jocelyn May of Birmingham, AL, her dear friend Ayana Lomax of Alabaster, AL and a plentiful host of other relatives and friends.
