Born March 28, 1968 in Bessemer, AL, Kerry Delano Hardy was the first born to proud parents Robert, Jr. and Patricia Hardy. He was raised in the Hillman Estates Community of Birmingham, AL with a deep seeded faith in education and community. He continued those teachings after graduating from John Carroll High School in 1986 by enlisting in the United States Naval Academy. After completing basic training, Kerry set his goal on furthering his education and enrolled in Alabama A & M University. Kerry found his true passion and the basis of his life's work after navigating the torrential waters of life. In 2007, Kerry began a new phase in his life and registered for Les Brown's Speakers' Training Course with his wife Tracy Hardy. He was excited about sharing his life story and motivating others while continuing to train and work with Dale Carnegie and Myles Monroe. In 2008, Kerry was encouraged to deliver his first speech in South Carolina with Les Brown. After leaving the stage, Kerry said that he had found his life's calling. He rose to the challenge through devotion, discipline and practicing to perfect his craft. Kerry began writing his first book "These Four Walls", a biography about his journey through life and the impact of decision-making. He would go on to author several books, "Freshman Orientation", "The Common Sense Leadership Series, vol. 1 - 3", and "The 52 Ultimate Leadership Series for Parents". Kerry left this earth on May 2, 2014 in Peak Performance! Kerry was on the pinnacle of reaching new heights with multiple speaking engagements, a Docu-series "A Day with Dad" in development and many other projects in production. Kerry leaves to mourn: a loving wife, Tracy Hardy; sons, Kerry Trayvon Hardy and Jerryal K. Jefferson (nephew); parents, Robert, Jr. & Patricia Hardy; sister, Paquita Hardy; best friend and brother, Michael (Erica)Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
