A Time to be Born On July 27, 1964, Juaquita was born to James E. Houston and Juanita Johnson Houston in Birmingham, Alabama. A Time to Flourish She accepted Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Wilson Fallin Sr. Serving with the Youth Department, Sunday School, and the Youth Choir. A Time to Educate She was a product of Brighton Elementary School and graduated from Brighton High School May 29, 1982, under the principal ship of Mr. Levi Satterfield. She matriculated further and graduated from Booker T. Washington Business College, receiving an Associate Degreeassociate degree in Business Administration. Later she advanced to Lawson State Community College and received an advanced degree in Secretarial Science. A Time to Say Farewell to Those I Love She is free, she has fought a good fight and finished her course. It was Monday, August 6, 2012 at 7:31 p.m. at UAB MICU Birmingham, AL that she traded her earthly bed for her eternal resting home. She was preceded in death by her father James E. Houston. Three sisters, Deidre Houston of Hueytown, Al; Yvette (Edward) Hayes Stafford, Virginia and Vonzella (James) Jordan Lawrenceville, GA. A special uncle Dr. Eugene H. Johnson (Dr. Lois P.); three aunts, Lois Moore, Betty J. Hitchcock, and Carolyn Johnson; eight grandchildren and a special nephew Isom M.Maurice Stewart; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
