Juanita Parker Warren was blessed to see 98 years, transitioned on September 2, 2020. Born in
Uniontown, Alabama in Perry County, she was the daughter of Glover and Louise Parker. Her formal
education took place at Perry County High School where she graduated.
After 20 years of marriage she became a widower of Mr. Eugene Warren, Sr. Later in life she began
working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Pleasant Grove Nursing Home. She was a faithful member of
2 nd Avenue Beulah under the leadership of Reverend R.T. Thomas and later serving under Reverend C.D.
Patterson for 70 years. During her time there she served in many capacities such as; Auxiliary Board and
she was most proud of being the President of General Missionary Society. She loved her church deeply
and was a faithful member until her health began to fail her; making the hard decision to place her in a
long-term care facility, Oak Knoll Nursing Home where she made her final transition.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Clark Warren and Antonio Warren; grandson, Eugene; daughters-
in-law, Bessie and Nadine Warren; son-in-law, Eugene Singleton; one sister and five brothers.
Juanita is survived by her children, Eugene Warren, Jr. and Repolia Singleton; grandchildren, Tera
(Adam) Shebroe, Rev. Eugene Warren, III, Audrey Faye Sanders, Rev. Daryl L. Warren, Lamar
Singleton, Patrick Singleton, Juan Singleton, Claudette (Robert) Long, Debra (Hubrey) Townsend,
Claudia (Calvin) Tucker and Clark (Tracy) Warren; two special grandchildren, Jalil Warren Zimmerman
and Tay Warren Akebzer; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
