Sister Josephine Fuller was born on January 30, 1924 to the late Evangelist Tom and Willie Ann Smith in Marion Jct., Alabama. She was the eighth child born of fourteen children. She accepted Christ in 1933 under her "PaPa" and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marion Jct., Alabama. She was united in marriage to Frank Fuller on March 24, 1940 in Marion Jct., Alabama, officiated by Pastor Matthew Oden. Their marriage was blessed with four children: Frank Fuller, Jr. (Bernice), Jessie Mae Odom (Odis), Willie Mae Clouden (Roderick), and Josephine Moten. They moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1944, then to Bessemer in June 1951. She joined Second Avenue Beulah Baptist Church under Pastor Edward L. Chandler and served faithfully as Director of BTU, Sunday School teacher, choir member and hospitality committee. Sister Josephine is survived by: three brothers, George, Ollie Lee and Roosevelt Smith; four sisters, Amanda Brantley, Mary Walker, Elizabeth Brent, and Henrietta Tripp; eight grandchildren, Jacqueline, Sharon, and Yolanda Fuller, Lyntis and Phyllis Moten, Jerry, Pamela, and Vanita Odom; eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends
