Obituary
Jonathan Marcel Williams was born August 25, 1992 to Tracey Tomeka Williams. Being reared by his grandmother, Pamela A. Sims, she homeschooled Jonathan where he learned many lessons about life and basic education. He was a lifelong believer of God’s word, the Bible and he attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness as his place of worship.
After being homeschooled, Jonathan began attending the Day Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he developed many social skills and became a friend to many.
Jonathan was preceded in death by: mother, Tracey Tomeka Williams; great grandfather, Leo Cain, Sr.; great aunt, Mary Tarbert.
Left to cherish his wonderful memories are: grandmother, Pamela Cain Sims; father who raised him, Louis Sims; grandfather, Willie Williams; uncles, Kim (Sandra) Williams and Reginald (Justina) Williams; aunt, Willetta (Tyree) Rivers; loving and caring great grandmother, Mildred Cain; great aunts, Regina (Donald) Douglas, Rhonda McLin, Lula Jones, Lenora Williams, Cheryl Harrell, Leonetta Wright, Venessa (Vincent) Ellison, Tammy (Clifton) Brayton and Francis Effinger; great uncles, Leo Cain, Jr., Raynard (Ouida) Cain, Irby (Lanita) Cain, Eddia (Ida) Williams, Fred Williams and Danny (Latrice) Williams all of Birmingham, AL; special cousin, Iman Cain; and a host of other relatives, especially loving and protective cousins.
