Joelle Bernadine Singleton Ware was born July 30, 1979, to the late Grady Carl Singleton, Jr. and Annie Mae Singleton. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Antioch Baptist Church. Joelle sung tenor in the Progressive and Black History Choirs at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Joelle attended Hueytown High School where she played basketball and was a graduate in the Class of 1988. She was employed with Lowe’s Home Improvement.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, as well as talking and spending time with family and friends.
On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Joelle exchanged time for eternity when God called her home.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Grady Carl Singleton, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted mother, Annie Mae Singleton; son, Fredrick Jerelle Ware; daughter, Precious Takyra Janee’ (Deveonte’) Coleman; two grandsons, Deveonte’ JeTerious Coleman and Jordan Cordell Anthony Coleman; one sister, Joan Singleton; two brothers, Marcus, Sr. (Ann) Singleton and Grady (Patricia) Singleton; nephews, Marcus, Jr. and Marquez Singleton; aunts, Jessie James Burgin, Velma Jean Robinson and Hazel Thomas; special cousins, Shaunta Brown and John Dunning; special friends, Ashley Lee, Kimberly Ingram and Tennyson Thomas and a host of other cousins and friends.
