Mr. Jimmy A. Wren was born on February 10, 1970 to Mary Wren and the late Jimmy Finch in Birmingham, Alabama. Jimmy attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School, Jess Lanier High School, and Brighton High School. He was a graduate of the Class of 1988/1989 and he was employed with Taylor and Miree Construction for many years. He accepted Christ as his savior and united with The New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the direction of the late Reverend Wilson Fallin, Sr. followed by Pastor Reginald Calvert. Jimmy was devoted, loving, and compassionate to all who knew and loved him. He was a pillar to his children, family, and friends. He ascended to his heavenly home on December 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Finch and his grandmother, Cornelia Wren Johnson. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: mother, Mary Wren of Bessemer, AL; two brothers, Mario Wren (Valencia) and Ricco Jones (Latesha) both of Bessemer, AL; sister, Juanika Jones Copeland of Bessemer, AL; three sons, Kendalra Hatter, Jardurius Hayes of Bessemer, AL, and Marcus Wade of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Lusher Bennett of Bessemer, AL; grandfather, Deacon Matthew Johnson of Bessemer, AL; aunts, Pamela Daughtry-Clarke (Andrey) of Bessemer, AL and Patricia Johnson of Riverdale, GA; four uncles, Wilson L. Wren of Trussville, AL, David Wren (Annie), Matthew Johnson both of Bessemer, AL and Charlie Wren (Evelyn) of Hueytown AL; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
