Jessie Moneyham

Jessie Moneyham, Sr., was born on July 6, 1921 in Lyons County, Alabama. He was a dedicated employee with U.S. steel for over 35 years. He was a family man, well known, respected, and a friend to all. he was affectionately known to many as "Junebug". Jessie, Sr. was a resident of Jefferson County for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Danree Moneyham. He departed this life on April 16, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Walter Ray (Geraldine) Hamilton, Luvern, Alabama, Bobbie Rogers, Birmingham, Alabama, Jessie (Pamela) Moneyham, Jr., Hueytown, Alabama, Joyce (Walter) Walton, Lawton, Oklahoma, Cynthia Moneyham, Birmingham, Alabama, Darryl Moneyham, and Victor (Lois) Moneyham, West Blocton, Alabama; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
