Jeffery Tubbs

Jeffery Tubbs was born on July 9, 1968 to the late Willie Lee and Robert B. Tubbs in Marion, Alabama. He was educated in the Bessemer School System. Jeffery confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church. He met and was united to Venita Gray and to this union three children were born. He later joined Cutting Edge Ministries in Birmingham, AL under the leadership of Pastor Joe Brock. He later joined in holy matrimony with Arlita Junious on April 21, 2015. He departed this life of forty-seven years on September 23, 2015. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Arlita Tubbs; five children, Ashley Ward Demopolis, AL, Portia Sims Marion, AL, Jenita, Jacqueline and Jeffery Tubbs, Jr. all of Birmingham, AL; four brothers, Vann (Mattie) Presley Marion, AL, Leotha (Mildred) Tubbs, Edward Tubbs and Joseph Tubbs all of Bessemer, AL; three sisters, Willie Ann Presley Killeen. TX, Janice Tubbs and Yvonne (LeRoy) Tubbs both of Bessemer, AL; two uncles, Lee Presley Chicago, IL and Walter Spears Detroit, MI; three brother-in-law's, Roosevelt (Twali) Junious, Carlos Thurman and Johnathan Hampton; one sister-in-law, Angela Hampton; mother-in-law, Yvonne Hampton; two grandchildren, Kaylem Sims and Kendarius Moore; two aunts, Mary Hogue Centreville, AL, Gladys Hudson Atlanta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
