James Curtis Eason was born April 5, 1934 to Frank and Martha Eason, in Bessemer, AL. He transitioned from earthly life on September 21, 2011. James gave his life to Christ at an early age. He graduated from Dunbar High School. He served diligently in the United Stated Army, fighting selflessly in the Korean War. He worked dedicatedly for many years at Pullman Standard, devoted to raising his child and serving the community. James had a great impact on many lives, although he was a biological father of one, he was a father figure to many. James was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Mae; his father, Frank; brothers, Claude, Frank Jr., Shelly Paul, and Edward; sister, Geraldine Peggins. He leaves to cherish his memories, Daughter, Gena (T.S.); four grandchildren, Janie, James, Alysha and Britney; brothers, Desmond (Faye), Anthony; sister, Gloria (Bob); great-grandchild, Damarcus; and a host of additional family and friends. God saw the road was getting rough The hills too hard to climb So he gently closed those weary eyes And whispered "Peace be Thine"
