Obituary Mrs. Goldbie Catherine Walker was born October 13, 1940 in Greensboro, Alabama to the late James and Flossie Singleton. She confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Atmore of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Wylam Alabama. She remained a faithful member of the Deaconess Board and the Senior Choir. She attended Sunday School until her health prevented her from attending. She attended and graduated from Westfield High School. She married Charles P. Walker, Sr. on December 26, 1963 and they were blessed to spend 51 years together. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles P. Walker, Sr.  She departed this life on Monday, July 24, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Angela (Jefferson) Anderson; sons, Vinson (Sheena) Walker and Charles (Regina) Walker, Jr.; sisters, Greathen (Robert) Mushatt, Albert (Carlton) Bailey and Cleavonne Stratton; brother, Robert (Sara) Singleton; seven grandchildren, Jasmine (Demetrius) Davis, Brianna Walker, Tiffani Anderson, Jordan Walker, Kayla Walker, Celina Walker and Nicholas Walker; two great grandchildren, Londyn “Lil Mama” Davis, Paisley “Big Moma” Davis and a host of relatives and friends.
