Georgia Wilson

Georgia Minnie Wilson was born on September 19, 1914 in Marion Junction, Alabama to the late Willie and Lou Sadie Pendleton. She was the older of her two sisters. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Allen Temple A.M.E. Church where she served as a member of the "Just Us" Club and the Allenites. Georgia Minnie Wilson attended Dunbar High School. She was soon united in marriage to Marion Wilson on December 25, 1933. To this union 11 beautiful children were born. Georgia Minnie Wilson was a dedicated wife and a loving mother. Proverbs 12: 4 says "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband." Proverbs 21:13&20; She seeketh wool, and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. She stretched out her hand to the poor; yea, she reached forth her hands to the needy. The life of Georgia Minnie Wilson came peacefully to an end on November 19, 2009 at her home with her family at her side.
