Ethel Wynn-Mott

On November 30, 1958 a loving soul was born into the world. Ethel Marie Williams was born to Luella Williams and to the late Johnny White in Bessemer, Alabama. She confessed hope in Christ early in life at St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Solomon Oliver. Ethel was preceded in death by: grandmother, Mary Jane Matthews; uncles, Joseph Williams, Sr. and Frank Williams, Sr.; aunt, Ruby Williams and her brother, Luther Williams. Ethel started her education in the Bessemer School system but moved to Detroit, Michigan with her Uncle, Melvin Williams. She graduated from Frank Cody High School in 1976 and moved back to her hometown of Bessemer, Alabama. On May 25, 1979 she gave birth to her son Quan Tyese' Williams. A few years later God blessed her with a beautiful baby girl, Quianna Re' Wynn on January 9, 1983. After the birth of her second child Ethel then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1988. While living in Atlanta she met what would become the love of her life, Joseph A. Mott, Sr. They married on August 7, 1997 and spent eighteen beautiful years together. In 1998 she began working at Riverside Intermediate School working in food services. In 2007 she was promoted to a paraprofessional specializing in children with disabilities. In 2010 she worked with the Garret School system but later returned to Riverside Intermediate. On February 10, 2013, 2:30 A.M. God called His servant home to give her an unbelievable sense of peace.
