Eleise Denson (76) was a long time resident of (Southside) Bessemer, Al. She transitioned to be with the Lord Friday, morning October 9, 2015. She was born May 13, 1939 in Shiloh, GA to the parentage of Jeff and Jimmie Mae Denson. She was a graduate of Brighton High School in Brighton Al. She was proceeded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R. L. McAdory, where she remained a faithful member. During her tenure, she served very actively for numerous years on the church kitchen committee, was a member of the National Association of Colored Women's Club's Inc., and member of the Royal Duchess Club. She also worked for Morrison's Cafeteria 23 year as a baker until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Shandra (Charles) Brewster and Cynthia (Cal) Fields; sons, Reginald (Regina) Denson, Dannie (Sherlita) Denson and Gary Denson; grandsons, Alexin Brewester, Charleston Brewster, Gary Denson Jr., Roman Denson and Reginald son; granddaughters, Brittany Denson, Daniqua Denson, Danquisha Denson, Shondarria Nunn, Shanah Nunn, Candice McKinley and Elisha Mosley; brother, Calvin Copeland and Jimmie (Barbara) Denso; sisters, Sussie Copeland, Yvonne Sellers and Gerlene Harris. She also leaves two great grandchildren and four generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless other family members, close friends and many children who knew here as the "Candy Lady" in her neighborhood.
