Demetrius Antuan Thompson also known as "D.T" was born on December 5, 1991 to James Thompson and Tangela Pitts in Birmingham, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Mulga, Alabama. Demetrius received his education through the Jefferson County School System and was a graduate of Minor High School. He was a former employee of Wal-mart and had a passion for washing cars. Demetrius had a smile that was loved by everyone and it would brighten up your day. Brother Demetrius "D.T" Thompson traded life for eternity on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tangela Pitts, his grandmothers Bernice Pitts and Joyce Ann Michel. He leaves to cherish his memories: a father, James Thompson; a sister Roshunda (Reginald) Spencer; five uncles: Thornell Pitts, Jerome Pitts, Thaddeus (Monya) Pitts, Zavier (LaTasha) Pitts, all of Birmingham, Alabama and Rashan Michel of Atlanta, Georgia; two aunts: San Thompson and Mary (Darrell) Young; one niece, Reagan Spencer and a host of family and friends.
