Delores Hackworth

A life well lived- in Christ as a mother, aunt, cousin, friend and sister was born on March 16, 1941. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was educated in the Alabama School System. Delores relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in the 1970’s where she remained. She worked for various companies including: Safeway Grocery Store, Phil’s, Foodway and 24 th South Leavenworth Grocery. After getting settled in Omaha, Delores joined Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful and active member until her health began to fail. She loved her family and church family very much. Throughout her illness she continued to trust God, held onto her faith and trusted the Lord to see her through.
Left to cherish her precious memories: sister-in-law, Jeanette Carter; LaTanya Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews and faithful friends. To God be the glory! No more suffering and pain only joy! Unspeakable joy!
