Brother Curtis Dean Moss, affectionately called "Wote" by his family and friends was born October 31, 1952 to the late William Solomon Moss, Sr. and Pauline Cannon Moss in Birmingham, Alabama. Curtis loved the Lord and confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was added to the Cairo Church of Christ. He drove the church van for several years. Curtis liked to bring joy to othersby being kind, thoughtful and considerate. One of his famous sayins was knowledge is power. Curtis graduated from Wenonah High School in 1971 and was a graduate of Lawson State and Kentucky State University. He was a dedicated and active member of the Wenonah High class of 1971. He played college and semi professional football. He loved his family, friends. church and he loved to tailgate. A mans heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Curtis heard the voice of the Lord saying "servant well done" on Monday, March 5, 2012 and he answered the Masters call. Precious memories remain with those who loved him the most: three loving brothers, Peter Alan Moss, I.(Mary), Jason Moss and Brian Moss; one sister, Sandra Gayle Moss; three nephews, Solomon Moss (Ravonne), Jason Moss, Jr. and Peter Moss II; five nieces, Maria Moss, Brooke Moss, Tracey Moss, Christina Moss and Brandi Moss; two great nieces, Sarita Moss and Kylee Grays; one great nephew, Solomon Moss, Jr., numerous cousns and a host of relatives and friends.
