Cicero Maze, Jr. was born April 30, 1942 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Cicero Maze Sr. He confessed hope in Christ at a young age. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He graduated from P.W. Dunbar High School in 1961. He was employed at Pullman Standard until its closing. He then was employed at Morton Upholstery, where soon after him and a fellow co-worker purchased the business and renamed it Upholstery Associates Inc. After years of service he sold his interest in the business and retired. He continued to practice his craft on his own.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Annie Maze.
He leaves to cherish his memories: seven siblings, Pastor John Henry Maze (Ella), Willie Maze (Sandra), Lawrence Maze, Mamie Shepherd (John), Alfonso Maze (Sametta), Eugene Maze (Deborah), and Yvonne Gaines (Raymond); one special cousin, LaCrystal Scott King (adopted niece); five children, Joseph Maze, Ingrid Maze, Gabriel Maze, Chevis Maze, and O’Terral Brown (Jamahl); seven step-children, Rev. Vincent Covington (Regina), Derrica Hollman (Maurice), Willie Davis, Anthony Davis (LaPaula), Kimberley Taylor (Untayus), Stephanie Denson and Kristy Denson; 22 grandchildren; and a host of great grands, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
