Carol Ruth Head, was born November 25, 1943 to the late Clara belcher Thompson and the late M.C. Mitchell in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Carol loved the Lord; everyone who knew her had an encounter with the Lord and Savior that she knew and served. Carol loved helping those in need she wanted everyone to feel loved by her; she did not meet a stranger. Carol Served years the Lord 38 at Friendship Baptist Church Brighton, Alabama for many years, Pastor Charles Hollingsworth, where she humbly served Matrons Ministry, Deaconess Ministry, and Sunday school teacher. Carol enjoyed the work that she did for her church family, Kim you were one of her daughters.
Carol was a devoted wife to Rufus Fred Head, for 35 years she loved her husband she cared for and about him. Carol was faithful to serve him in sickness and in health.
Carol a Loving mother to all of her children LaTricia (Roy Smith), Lyndon Jones (Michelle) Lydia *Grace (Ricky Pulliam), William Jones (Marie), LaVonnda Jones, Martina Green, Michael Head, Burdett (Darnell), Brian (April), Charles( Antrice) Andre, Rutiea (Dexter),
She was preceded in death by, Wendy.
Thirty-seven Grandchildren and Forty-four Great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Carol Work at Miles College in the Sub for several years. later she was employed at Cooper Green Hospital where she retired from with friends and fond memories of her work family.
