Bobby Sanders

Mr. Bobby E. Sanders was born September 11, 1947, to the late Margaret Sanders and the late Sylvester Thigpen.
At an early age, he accepted Christ.
He graduated from Carver High School in Bessemer, Alabama. He was a long-time labor worker for Jones Fountain Iron Works.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Peggy Brown Sanders on April 10, 1984.
On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, he quietly departed this life at the University of Alabama Medical West in Bessemer, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sanders and his niece, JeoVonder Sanders Henderson.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Keiwanda Stevenson and Angela Hudson; two sons, George (Cherri) Gardner and Adrian Gardner; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren; his best friend and sister, Victoria Sanders; his sisters-in-law, Doris Sanders and Carolyn (Johnnie) Mauldin; two nieces, Valencia Sanders and Trini Thigpen (Walter) Rice; a host of great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great nieces, other relatives and friends.
