Obituary Bobbie Jean Agee Jones was born on November 28, 1938 in Bessemer, Alabama to the late Horace Jr. and Diania Agee. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Albert Jones; sisters, Mattie Hubbard, Dorothy Wells and brother, Nathaniel Kennedy. After confessing her faith in Christ at an early age, Bobbie Jean was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend B.B. Strowder where she remained a faithful member until her demise. Bobbie Jean was educated in the Bessemer School System graduating from Dunbar High School in 1957. She retired from Meadowood Nursing Home after spending 37 years as a member of the dietary staff. She was well loved in her community and always had an open door to all in need. It was practically impossible for anyone to come to her home and not be offered a meal. Loving memories of her life will forever be cherished by: children, Albert Earl (Myra) of Birmingham, Alabama, Selestine (Marvin) of Bessemer, Alabama, Derrick Aundra (Marilyn) of Trussville, Alabama and Cynthia of Bessemer, Alabama; sister, Earnestine Agee Collins of Bessemer, Alabama; sister in law, Mattie Kennedy of Birmingham, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Marvin, DeMarcus, Quandarius, Jamarius, Brianna, Shantrice, Sonceris, Angela and Maiya; three great grandchildren, Kaiden, DeMiyah and Quandarius, Jr.; two aunts, nine nieces, six nephews and a host of cousins , extended relatives and friends.
