Betty Jean Collins was born November 26, 1953 to the late Eugene Collins, Sr. and Jennie Lee Collins in Fairfield, Alabama. Betty went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2017. Betty accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Beverly Brown Strowder. She continued her membership under the Reverend William E. Scott until God called her home. Betty graduated from the great J.S. Abrams High School in 1972 where she thrilled everyone as the head majorette. She worked hard in the healthcare industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her health failed. She was a generous and loving person. Betty was funny and the best daughter, mother and big sister ever! Betty was the oldest child born to the late Eugene Collins Sr. and Jennie Lee Collins. She was preceded in death by: brothers, Eugene Collins, Jr. and Bobby Lee Collins; nephew, Brandon Jordan Collins.
