Arthur Hill, Jr., was born to the late Mariah Frasier and Arthur Hill, Sr., on July 30, 1928. He was a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church. The Lord called him home on the morning of July 14, 2020. Arthur graduated from Dunbar High School in 1946. He entered the United States Marine Corps in the summer of 1946. Private First-Class Hill received an Honorable Discharge in the summer of 1948. On December 28, 1975, he married his current wife, Grace Delores Cook.
Mr. Hill was a master electrician and worked as a foreman for W.J. Bullock of Fairfield, Alabama, for 34 years. Additionally, he was the owner of Hill & Son’s Electric, as well as, co-owner of H & H Electric.
Arthur Hill, Jr. was preceded in death by his father Arthur Hill, Sr. (Minnie) and his mother, Mariah Frasier (Leonard), his aunt, Virginia Thompson, his first wife, Juanita Foster Hill, a son, David Thomas, a granddaughter, Felisa Cuerenton and grandson, Steven Beckwood.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his devoted and dedicated wife of 45 years, Grace Hill; nine children, Barbara Bridges (Hollis), Len Hill, Sr. (Glenda), Carol Lewis (Matthew), Ralph Hill (Carol), Raymond Hill, Randy Hill, Belinda Dunn (Jonas), Andrea Kidd, and Kenna McCoy (Andre), a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
