Annie Owens

Annie Laura Owens was born the fourth of nine children, April 18, 1925, to the late Willie Ben and Annie Lucille Henley Owens. She confessed Christ at an early age and attended the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Bessemer, Alabama. God called her home on July 24, 2013. Annie Laura was a product of the Bessemer School System. She was a homemaker and later worked for Baptist Princeton Hospital until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ben and Annie Lucille Owens; Siblings, Hugh De., Curtis Gilbert, Vivian and Lillian. She leaves to cherish her memories loving and devoted children, Bobby Owens, Patricia O. Moore, Jacqueline W. (Ralph) Saunders, Dianne W. (Morris) Marshall, Annette E. (Arthur) Wilson and Michael A. (Sharri) Ellis. Sisters, Evelyn Ivey and Willie M. Gilbert. Brother, Elbert (Amelia) Owens. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and beloved friends.
