Obituary
On Monday, May 14, 2018 our heavenly Father came for his child, Alforenza to offer him a place of no more pain and to give him rest. Alforenza was born to Alforenza, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Hill and confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greenleaf Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama.
Russo was well known and loved by many. He was a hard worker, loving husband and father who enjoyed his family, dancing, laughing and having a good time.  He worked for WGN (WATCO) for 16 ½ years and retired in May 2016.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Alforenza, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Hill; sisters, Juanita King, Cynthia Dancy and Shelia Ware; brother, William Dancy.
Left to cherish his unforgettable memories: wife, Sharon Ray; daughter, LaShonta Jackson; grandchildren, ReKedra Jackson and Rayshod Burts; great grandchild, Amelia Jackson; sister, Hawiiatha Ray; brother, Willie G. Hill; dedicated friend, Charles E. Lewis and dependable son-in-law Edward Burts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
