Alberta Davis

Alberta W. Davis was born on August 27, 1935 to the late Eli and Ara Bell Williams in Brighton, AL. She was the youngest of seven children. Alberta accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and continued in His service throughout her life. She met and married James Davis and they became the proud parents of four children. Alberta departed this life on November 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Ara Bell Williams; husband, James Davis; six siblings; and her son, Donnie Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Teresa Davis; two sons, James (Barbara) Theodore Davis, III and Gregory Jonathan Davis; five grandchildren, LaDonna (Ray) Teague, April (James) Mitchell, Anthony (Mia) Hickley, Yelonda Williams, and Nicholas (Eleshia) Davis; fourteen great-grandchildren; special friends, Shirley Davis, Jean Minor, and Mary Pryor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
